This collaboration aims to provide dairy farmers with essential tools, safety education, and hands-on support for on-farm preparedness, addressing one of the nation's most dangerous industries. Through this initiative, more than 1,000 Farm Emergency Kits specifically designed for agricultural settings will be distributed to dairy farmers within The Dairy Alliance's eight-state region. These kits were created by Hammock, an ER nurse and farm wife, who recognized that standard first aid kits were inadequate for addressing the unique injuries common in farming operations.
The partnership also includes workshops and social media campaigns that deliver practical tips and real-world guidance to prevent farm injuries.
